Where we work
Worthing outward, about thirty miles by road.

Because the roof decides the price.
The covering, the structure and the access are what move a figure, and none of the three can be judged from a photograph or a postcode.
What we say when the answer is smaller
We say it.
A good proportion of the enquiries we take turn out to be a gasket, a blocked drainage channel, an extract fan venting into a loft, or a room that needs airing rather than a rooflight that needs replacing.
Why that is worth doing
Because the alternative comes back.
Replacing a rooflight because of condensation, without changing the reveal or the ventilation, buys somebody a warmer pane and the same wet corners.

An honest price range would be too wide to be useful, and we do not publish ratings or testimonials, because there is no way for a reader to verify them.

The trade is full of logos, and we would rather describe what we actually do on a roof than display a badge somebody would have to look up.

The people who surveyed it.
The person who looked at your roof is the person who explains what is proposed, and the same team does the work rather than passing it on.
What we ask of a household
Very little, and it helps.
A cleared loft, a cleared area under the opening, and somewhere for the access equipment to stand, which between them turn a late start into an early one.
How we sequence a job
So the roof is never left open.
Every day ends with the opening covered and weathertight, whatever stage it has reached, and a job is postponed rather than started against a forecast that will not hold.

Work off a ladder to save a hire.
Handling glass at height from a ladder is how people get hurt, and where a job needs a platform we price a platform rather than improvising.

It varies with the season.
Spring and early summer are the busiest period and the winter months are quieter, so a job enquired about in January often happens sooner than one in May.
